Dear Neighbors,
We are pleased to announce that Access Justice Brooklyn will be relocating to a new office in the upcoming New Year! We are excited to share that our new office will be in the Downtown Brooklyn area; however, beginning on Monday, November 25th, AJB staff will be working remotely while we prepare for our move.
What does this mean for you?
If you are an AJB client, our staff and volunteers are meeting with clients virtually and/or via telephone. In-person meetings can be arranged by appointment only. If you would like to meet in-person with your assigned attorney, please reach out to them directly.
If you are seeking legal assistance, please note our phone and online intake has temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, December 9th, 2024. If you are awaiting a follow-up from a recent intake, please excuse any delays.
We are not conducting in-person intake at this time, however, you can complete our intake form online here. If you prefer to speak with AJB staff directly, our normal intake hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please call (718) 624-3894 or email us at help@accessjusticebk.org.
Need to send us mail?
As we transition to our new location, we have set up a temporary P.O. Box mailing address. Please direct all mail to the following address as of November 22, 2024:
Access Justice Brooklyn
271 Cadman Plz E Ste. 2, #22640
Brooklyn, NY 11201
Please note, this is only a mailing address. Should you need to meet with AJB staff in-person, please call to make an appointment. Any mail sent to our previous location at 44 Court Street will be redirected to the address above.
Stay tuned for more updates about our move and be sure to check our website and social media for the latest information.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to help!
Warm regards,
The Access Justice Brooklyn Team
